Bogdan Timar is senior specialist in Diabetes, Nutrition and Metabolic Diseases, Professor of Diabetes and the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine - "Victor Babes" University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Timisoara, Romania. Prof. Bogdan Timar is involved in several international and national research projects focused in the area of cardiovascular risk assessment and management in patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, analysis of early predictive factors involved in the development of diabetes complications as well as on the socio-economic and quality of life impact of diabetes. Prof. Timar is the initiator and promoter of Diabetes Science School training program for young researchers in the field of Diabetes.
