Prof.Dr. Dimitri Mikhailidis

Dimitri Mikhailidis graduated from the University of London (BSc, MSc, MB,BS and MD) and is the former Academic Head, of the Dept. of Clinical Biochemistry, Royal Free Hospital campus, University College London Medical School, University College London (UCL), UK. He continues with academic duties after partial retirement. He is Visiting Professor, Univ. of Belgrade, Serbia, and Adjunct Professor of Medicine, Mohammed Ben Rashid University (2019-) and Adjunct Professor of Vascular Disease Prevention, European University Cyprus (2019-). His clinical interest is vascular disease prevention, and his research interests are dyslipidaemias and thrombosis. He is a Foreign Member of the Slovenian and the Serbian Academies of Medicine. He has 1,339 entries on PubMed and 35,190 citations listed in the Clarivate Web of Science index, Core Collection (H-index = 84). He is cited by 20,986 publications where he is not an author.
